Pamela E. Ferriere, Memorial Service - A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30th, at 11am at the Westminster Congregational Church, 395 Westminster Road, Canterbury, CT.  

Mission of the Month – For October, our Mission of the Month will be The Anointed Generation and Pastor Felix Chivandire.  He will be speaking October 8th, and we will take a collection for him on the 8th and the last Sunday of the month.


Paving Donations - You can mark paving fund in the memo of your check or offering envelope and place it in the glass jar marked paving fund.  Or, you can give on our website www.ashfordchurch.org/GIVING/Donate-Online  and write paving fund in the special instructions box.  We have 4k to go even though the job is already done!  This is the last week we will announce it, but your gifts are still needed.

Garden Help Needed! - We tore out the garden in front of our ministry building last week. Now we need to pot the bulbs and plants so we can replant them after our paving project.  Do you have any empty flower pots you’re not using that we can have? His Oaks Ministry Annual Tag Sale Fund-Raiser - October 6th and 7th -9am till 4pm.  Donated items can be dropped off at His Oaks Ministry House, 147 Union Road, Eastford, CT or you can call 860-315-7080 to schedule a pick-up.

 

Christmas Cantata Practice – On Sunday October 8th, after church, we will have our first Cantata practice and talk about where and when we will sing this year. Bring a bagged lunch and plan on staying to sing.

Matt and Grace have sold their house and hope to leave for Asia in January but need to close the gap in their mission support first. If they touched your heart, and you would like to know more, this is a great chance to connect with them in person.
