Sunday Morning 9:00am

Kids Church meets on Sunday Mornings at 9:00am in our Ministry Building (rear building). (age 1-12th grade) can come and DISCOVER the LOVE of GOD through music, BIble teaching, crafts, games and snacks.

The safety of every child is our utmost concern. To ensure this, parents or guardians must personally "check in" and "check out" each child every week.  Also all of our volunteers have passed background checks.

We believe that learning about Jesus should be fun! Our teachers bring lots of fun activities and excitement to their classrooms.

We include games and music in our morning and guarantee your kids will have a lot of fun on Sundays while learning about Jesus!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Here is some basic information that can help you better plan ahead.

  • Where do I bring my kids?

    Kids Church is located in our Ministry Building (rear building).  The kids will get checked in in the Big Room (right entrance). If you bring kids to the nursery (0-4) during second service, that is at the end of the hall on the left. 

  • What if I have a child with special needs?

    If you have a child with special needs, let us know in advance and we will work on a plan with you. 

  • Do I need to bring snacks?

    At registration you will let us know if your child has food alergies. We will have an alternative snack for them if necessary. 

  • Can I attend Church with my child?

    Your kids are always weclome in church. Pastor Pat always says "We would rather have noisy kids in church than no kids in church."  We know parents will try to keep their kids quiet, but the noise they make is the sweet sound of familes worshiping together!  Many parents drop their kids off at 9:00am for Kids Church and then bring their whole family with them to the 10:45am service. But again, kids are always welcome in any service! 

What is Operation Christmas Child?

Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God's immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Delivered by our local church partners, shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way.

Each box cost $10 to ship and we will have plenty of shipping labels available at the church but if you want to track your box then you can prepay and print your label by clicking here. 


Shopping Trip

Our Sunday School will be taking a shopping trip to fill boxes, if you want to join us, let us know pastorpat@ashfordchurch.org


Collection Date

Our collection date will be November 12th.  You can bring your shoe boxes to church any Sunday up until then.
